The 2024 Maverick XL has a 2.0-liter motor with 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque standard, with available 2.5-liter hybrid. Maverick delivers 1,500 pounds of max payload for hauling and transporting, and a Class III 4,000 lb. tow rating for pulling a load behind.

CarBuzz™ reports Ford sources as saying that four colors aren’t coming back- Alto Blue, Area 51, Avalanche Grey and Cyber Orange- but Ford’s adding Azure Gray and Terrain to the available color palette.    They also report that the 2024 Maverick Lariat Package benefits from the most revisions, including that the Lariat Luxury package is now standard and the new bundle includes a spray-in bedliner, wireless device charging, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and CoPilot360 Assist safety suite. That suite includes adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, rear parking sensors and more.
