Explorer(R)
Three rows. Two engines. One SUV that handles everything from the school run to Land Between the Lakes.
The Family SUV
Clarksville
Depends On
The Explorer has earned its place in American driveways for over three decades -- not because of clever marketing, but because it genuinely works. Three rows. Real towing capacity. A tech suite that keeps pace with what people actually use. And now, for 2026, a brand-new Tremor off-road trim that takes the Explorer further off pavement than any Explorer that came before it.
In Clarksville, a three-row SUV isn't a luxury -- it's a practical answer to APSU carpool, Fort Campbell family life, weekend trips to the Cumberland River, and the kind of unpredictable Tennessee weather that reminds you why all-wheel drive matters. The Explorer fits that life well.
Every 2026 Explorer comes standard with a 13.2-inch touchscreen, Co-Pilot360 safety suite, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a Class III tow package. You're not buying a stripped base model and optioning your way to useful. It starts capable.

Two Engines.
One Standard Tow Package.
Every 2026 Explorer comes with a Class III tow package at no extra charge. The engine debate is about power preference -- both are genuinely capable.
Turbo 4-Cylinder
Turbocharged, paired with a 10-speed automatic. Rated 20 city / 29 highway with RWD -- strong for a three-row SUV. 0-60 in around 6.1 seconds. Tows 5,000 lbs. Genuinely good for daily I-24 commuting and weekend hauling to the lake. All-wheel drive drops combined to 22 MPG.
Twin-Turbo V6
400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque in a three-row family SUV is genuinely fast -- 0-60 in about 5.1 seconds. Runs on regular-grade gasoline. Rated 18 city / 25 highway. Standard on ST, available on Tremor with the Tremor Ultimate Package. Sport-tuned suspension on ST adds to the driving character.
The Most
Capable Explorer
Ever Built.

Bold Where It Counts.
Practical the Rest.
The 2026 Explorer's exterior is confident without being loud. Wide-set LED headlights, a sculpted hood, and available 21-inch wheels on the ST give each trim a different personality. The Tremor earns its Bright Orange badges and lifted stance through functional hardware, not body kits.
- Standard LED headlights and taillights across the lineup
- Available panoramic fixed glass roof -- new for 2026, on all trims
- Power liftgate standard on Active and above

Three Rows Done
the Right Way.
Seating for seven is a spec that's easy to promise and hard to deliver. The Explorer's cabin uses the space intelligently -- usable third-row headroom, 87.8 cubic feet of cargo when both rows fold, and available multicontour massaging seats in the Platinum that make long drives from Clarksville to Nashville feel shorter than they are.
- Seating for 6 (captain's chairs) or 7 (bench) -- trim-dependent
- 87.8 cu. ft. max cargo with both rows folded
- PowerFold third-row seats (standard on ST / Platinum, available on Tremor)

Ford Co-Pilot360(R)
Standard on Every Trim
The full Co-Pilot360 Assist+ suite comes standard across the 2026 Explorer lineup -- not as a trim-level upgrade. That matters in Clarksville where you're navigating busy interchanges on I-24, school zones on Highway 41-A, and rural roads once you get west toward Stewart County.
