We have a long and storied history that begins all the way back in 1936 with Vernon Jenkins.

He took over his first dealership at the age of 26. Perhaps this would have grown into a very similar enterprise to Jenkins and Wynne Ford, but it was just not meant to be. WWII took Vernon overseas, but he vowed to come back and open a new dealership.

After a few partnerships and propositions, he finally partnered up with MB “Briz” Wynne to form Jenkins and Wynne. In 1953 they settled in Clarksville, TN, with less than $100,000 in inventory and only eight employees. They must have been doing something right though because by the end of the first year sales already totaled around $1 million.

From that point forward, they sought to grow the business, while never forgetting where they come from. Now we are a third generation family owned business, and we are still very much a family and customer oriented enterprise. We want to take care of our customers from the moment they come through our doors and long after they leave.

We were the first dealership in Clarksville, and our location allows us to serve all the surrounding areas.
