What does Super Duty mean?

It means these are some tough trucks, designed to deliver the most performance for your big jobs, big plans and big expectations!  The Ford F-Series of Super Duty trucks is made up of three-quarter ton and one-ton heavy duty trucks, so you’re looking at massive tow/haul capabilities, making it an ideal work truck or the perfect truck for towing a boat, ATV trailer, camper or anything heavy you need to move. 2024 Super Duty details:

Ford’s order guide for the Super Duty line of trucks outlines the main options and features available on the six trim levels, from XL to Limited.  Here are a few highlights:

New engine option: The 2024 Super Duty engine menu offers one new addition: the new 6.8-liter V8 engine delivers flex-fuel capacity on `complete pickups’. In layman’s terms, that means the Super Duty trucks with a bed can run on both regular gas and E85 fuel. (Chassis cab models are excluded from this option.)

Enhanced tech: XLT models of the 2024 Super Duty trucks equipped with the Premium Package, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trims all come with a full year of Connected Navigation services. XL and XLT trims also come with optional Programmable Engine Idle Shutdown, and also offer optional Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch feature.

New truck packages: The 2024 Super Duty lineup includes two new packages: the Heavy-Service Package for Pickup Box Delete and Pickup Box Delete. 

Exterior updates: The 2024 Super Duty lineup is available in two new additional colors: Darkened Bronze Metallic and Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat. 

Trim Levels: The 2024 Super Duty trim levels start with the XL base, followed by the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and tops out with the ultra-luxurious Limited trim.
